Technical Passport

Technical Passport document is a collection of documents that must be submitted for certification, including permission to use the “equipment for hazardous industrial sites” specified in Russian Federation Federal Law No. 116-FZ, 07.21.1997 and Eurasian Conformity Technical Regulations. A Technical Passport is a collection of technical documents written in conformity with a formal format. It is a document that must be submitted to a certification body for certification and licensing and it is a collection of document book for an end-user that must furnish beside the machine.

Technical Passport must be written in accordance with GOST 2.608-78, GOST 2.105-95, GOST 2.601-2006 specifications and must be submitted by reference to the certification authority for TRCU (Technical Regulation of Customs Union) certification.

This documents is a set of documents used to design, build, deploy, maintain and evaluate the technical facilities.

To obtain various permits and certificates are often required extensive technical documentation, meeting the requirements of Eurasian Conformity (EAC).

“Manual” is a document that contains the technical data of a device, describing its structure, working principle and its characteristics (functions). Includes information on its proper use in accordance with safety standards, information on maintenance, overhaul and testing, as well as disposal and recycling of the device and its components.

“Safety Case” – is a document which constitutes an integral part of the technical passport. This is the declaration of safety for some equipment. Manufacturer should make this documents based upon the background of safety including TRCU and GOST standards.

In the Technical Passport, basic specifications of the product, operation / maintenance / safety manual, certificate, equipment repair log, etc. should be prepared. Technical Passport/Technical Documents (passports) is a document that must be submitted by the manufacturer and signed by the manufacturer and submitted to the user and the Certification Body.
